Half a dozen of Texas Holdem Tournament Strategies

I don't have a big experience of playing at MTT tournaments of Texas Holdem. I am a plus player. But I cannot say that my strategy is optimum. I still need to work a lot over it. That is why I publish 6 interesting links to the best articles on Texas Holdem Tournament Strategies.

1. I think, we should start from scratch. Here is the link to the article on Bankroll Management and ROI in Multi Table Tournaments. I found the advice to get experience at Freerolls rather good. Free advice cannot be excessive. According to the number of decent Freroll tournaments no one can beat CarbonPoker. I think that it is not worth playing at Freeroll tournaments – there are too many players that fight for little prize money.

2. I'll continue with the link to the same site – to 3 articles on Poker Stars 180 Player SNGs. It is a three-part saga about the game in a particular tournament. If you are aimed at regular play in MTT, then such configuration is practically ideal. There are not so many players as in regular tournaments, and you don't spend so much time. And the prizes, if compared to the invested money, are rather substantial.

3. Let's go over blogs. The first in turn is surflexus with its MTT Strategy.

4. Another interesting variant of Simple MTT Strategy is provided by Tiny. By the way, the advice to play AA, KK, QQ, JJ, or AK at the beginning of the tournament, seems to be not bad.

5. Blinders shares with us the thoughts about The Black and White MTT Strategy. We have to agree with him - "modified cash game" does not work for tournament poker. I checked it on myself – have lost a lot of money.

6. Michael1123's Multi-Table Tournament Strategy brings up the rear to my short digest. Despite of the fact, that this article has been basically written for players in PokerStar, it is going to be useful for everybody. Although to play PokerStar is not that bad idea ;)

I’m not professional fulltime poker player. I usually play poker during 2 hours daily. I play 4 tables No Limit Texas Holdem Poker $1/$2 at Ultimate Bet. My average hour win rate is $7. With rakeback with RakeTracker I earn about $8 additional. I double my win rate using rakeback!

I receive 30% rakeback from Ultimate Bet with RakeTracker!
