It has been announced that poker pro Jonathan Kalmar has been signed at Ladbrokes Poker. Kalmar has been officially made a part of the team to represent the Ladbrokes Poker online poker site at live tournaments.

It is reported that a sponsorship deal has been made between 34 year old British poker pro Janathan Kalmar and Ladbrokes Poker online site. Jonathan Kalmar, fondly known as 'Skalie' in the poker arena has been unofficially connected with the UK online poker room for quite a while. Now this association has been made official. The Ladbrokes Poker MD, Edwar Ihre stated "The signing is a formality really. Ladbrokespoker.com already considers Skalie a member of the team and Laddies has long been skalie's online home. It was only a matter of time before he joined our poker pro stable."

The arrangement was settled while Skalie was playing in the World Poker Tour World Championship in Las Vegas. Referring to the signing, Skalie noted "I'm thrilled. I can't wait to take up my role of Ladbrokes. In 2006 I came 82nd in the Main Event and then I finished in 5th last year, let's hope I continue to improve upon my performance."

It is reported on the Ladbrokespoker.com site that "The Ladbrokes Poker contract will see skalie contribute to the site by way of insightful blogs and reports from major poker events worldwide, including this year's WSOP.
