No Limit Texas Holdem Poker Starting Hands Chart

As I already wrote, I, basically, play on small stack strategy. But sometimes on me something finds, and I sit down to play with a full stack. It is clear, that my actions and a choice of starting hands are differing.

I prefer to play on a chart for tight players. And it means about such choice of hands:

  • All pairs AA-22
  • AK, AQ, Axs
  • Suited connectors J9s+

Certainly, not hands I play all from the first position also, as from late. I have two rules. The further from the button, the tighter to play. And if you can not tell raise, fold hand.

If to group all this in the table it will turn out about the following:

Early Position Middle Late Blinds
AA-QQ, AK and AQs Rise Rise Rise Rise
JJ-99 and AQo-AJ Limp Call Rise Rise
Suited connectors J9s+ and small pairs Fold Call Call Rise

If someone raise, before you should play even more tight.

Playing with a full stack, you risk much more, than with small one. Besides a choice of starting hands it is necessary to give steadfast attention to studying of strategy and tactics of game on postflop.
