Week #4: Two Fatal Sit And Go ErrorsWeekly stats: Start bankroll was $68.90. Game is Full Tilt Poker 1 Table SNG $2+$.25. I've played 6 tourneys with ROI equal 33.33%. ITM is 66.67%. There were 2 second and 2 third places. Weekend bankroll is $73.40 Overall stats: 24 tourneys were played. ROI is 43.33%. ITM is 58.33%. Low limit sit-and-gos are very easy to play. As you can see in my stats I have good enough ROI and ITM. But why so many peoples loose money playing SNGs? Looking trough history data I’ve found some common errors that other players do. The first error is playing marginal hand in early stages. Full Tilt Poker Stack sizes: Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is SB with :kh :ts Flop: :js :ks :8d (t450, 2 players) Turn: :jc (t2130, 2 players) River: :9h (t2150, 1 player + 1 all-in - Main pot: t2150) Results: What do you think about this hand? I think that KT isn’t hand to call. And of cause it isn’t hand to call min raise. After all CO has only top pair low kicker on flop. It’s very unadvisedly to go all in with this hand. Other fatal error is calling with extremely short stack trying to see chip flop. You have to go all in or fold with short stack! In other case you loose you chips and reduce your chances to win tourney. Full Tilt Poker Stack sizes: Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is CO with :as :6h Flop: :4s :5d :jd (t360, 2 players) Turn: :th (t670, 0 player + 2 all-in - Main pot: t670) River: :kd (t670, 0 player + 2 all-in - Main pot: t670) Results: Button is lucky guy. But he plays this hand wrong! Why? He should go all in on any flop because he has extremely short stack. Why do not go all-in preflop? Maybe BB fold his hand... |
